Our pouring workshops are broken up into 2 parts.

The making portion is up to 1 hour for creating and up to 1 hour if extra time is needed !  Woo hoo!

Step 1: MAKE

Attend the pouring workshop on the date & time you selected.

Watch our curator's step by step instructions in our Demonstration Room. The demo is about 15 minutes, which means you really have to be on time. :) Even come a little early! Look around, say hi! Please, please, be on time.

Instruction will commence within 5 minutes of the scheduled start time. Please arrive on time to ensure you get the full instructions before entering the clay studio to create your project.

Next, move into the Studio! You have up to one hour to paint and pour, get creative and add the details. So come on in; grab a coffee and take a seat. The creating time is self directed for you to enjoy the process of creating!

Please note workshops are sold by the seat. We will not have space for observers/helpers. Each person attending must be registered (i.e. parent and child are both registered).

Depending on which pouring you are doing, you may need to come back another day to add the details.

If you are adding the vitreous medium pour, it will be ready for pick up the very next day.

Here is when you add details, colour and shine! This time is self directed, step by step instructions are posted in the room. Our staff is there to help if needed. You are able to book the glazing room for up to one hour, however, if the next time slot is not full you are welcome to stay a little longer.

We do not offer refunds. You can transfer your workshop booking up to 24 hours before the workshop using the link provided you in the booking confirmation. We cannot provide a transfer after this time.

Running late? Aw man! We understand that sometimes there are unforeseeable issues. These things happen.

If you are 5 minutes late to a workshop it makes it really hard on the instructor and the demonstration. This can be avoided by arriving 5-10 minutes early. The classroom itself will open up 5 minutes before the start of the demonstration so you have time to grab an apron and settle in.

If you are more than 5 minutes late to a workshop demonstration you will miss the instruction and the necessary steps in the project and you may not be able to join in. This is at the discretion of the instructor.

Understand that we cannot offer a refund or credit if you are late and unable to join the class.  If there is room in the next demonstration, you are welcome to join that one instead.

We require 24 hours notice for any cancellations and transfers.

You can make changes to your booking up to 24 hours before. If the change you make requires less payment than originally paid, a credit will be entered on your account (i.e. a booking changes from 4 people to 3, the amount paid for the 4th person will be added to your account.)
